On the third floor of the second building, I found a really nice apartment home. Under my flip flops I could feel the cushiness of the carpet. Out of all the apartments I have seen so far, The living room has a lot of space and around the corner is an office area AND a dining section in the kitchen. In addition to all that room, there is a den with a door. It may not seem like much to some people, but for a parent who has been at work all day, it might be nice to have a place where you can meditate in peace. You can also use it as a small library.
1-bedroom apartments start at about $1100. You wont have to worry about driving to a Laundromat or waiting for your neighbors to hurry up and get their clothes out of the dryer. You will have an energy efficient washer and dryer in your home. Some two bedrooms have 2 full bathrooms as well.
The walk-in closets are almost as big as the den. There is plenty of parking space if you drive and a metrobus stop nearby if you don’t. There is a great international community, so you will feel totally welcome in this neighborhood.
Many apartments have a balcony and all the units have large windows. This Silver Spring complex is just a short drive from Target, grocery stores, Strathmore Park, and shopping centers.
